GEORGE W. HUDSON passed away at the family home on West C St. Friday, Nov. 27 from acute indigestion, an illness lasting for the past six years. Funeral services were held November 30 at the Morris chapel conducted by Rev. ALBERT MCCLELLAN of the Waurika Baptist Church of which he was a member, assisted by SAMUEL DODDS of Enid, a nephew of Mr. Hudson. Interment was in the Waurika cemetery. Mr. Hudson was born September 6, 1882 at Rush, Texas. He married Miss MAUDIE BARNETT there and they moved later to Bridgeport, Texas where they lived until October 20, 1919 when they moved to Waurika. He is survived by Mrs. Hudson, and the following children, OLEN THURMAN and ORVILLE, Mrs. LIZZIE GREEN, all of Waurika, and Mrs. THELMA FULLER of Highland Creek, Ontario.
