Audrey Mae Schneider, age 80 and a half, of Kiel passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, April 13, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Audrey was born on August 17, 1942 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Alfred and Wilma (Kuchenbecker) Otto.

She attended Fountain Park Grade School and Kiel High School. Audrey worked at Hansen Glove factory in Kiel as well as Borden Cheese in Plymouth before owning and operating a farm for a few years as well as owning the hardware store in School Hill. She was employed with Kohler Co for over 26 years before retiring in May of 2005. Audrey was a proud member of the Quarter Century Club and SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. When she lived in School Hill, she was an active member of the Osman Christian Mothers and the Holy Trinity Christian Mothers. She looked forward to the time she could spend with her family, playing BINGO, and traveling on her many trips throughout the U.S. visiting many states several times. Audrey could always be found planting flowers when the weather was getting nice or having lunch with her friends, when she wasn't doing these things, she could be found reading a good book or doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her four children: Sheryl (Michael) Leitner, Chilton, Pam Wielgosh, New Holstein, Kim Schneider (Robert Salzman), Valders and Vickie Schneider, Sheboygan Falls; six grandchildren: Aaron Leitner, Dallas, TX and Joseph Leitner, Chilton, Aundreya Haelfrisch and Alex Henschel, Nicholas and Jacob Wielgosh, New Holstein. She is further survived by her sister: Betty Koenig and sister-in-law: Lola Otto, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
