Shadrick/Shadrack Noah Gallion later changed his name to GALYEAN. He m. 1st Mahalia Rector died in Va. and 2nd Ruth(a) K. Lowe.
Ruth was half his age.
Shadrick migrated to Arkansas in the 1850's and had a total of 21 children from both wives.
Two of 3 sons served in the 2nd Cherokee Mounted Rifles in the Civil War. One son was killed in action in the war.
Early family was from Maryland.
