Funeral of Miss Beach

The funeral of Miss Ruby Beach, occurred Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Pleasant Valley church, and Arkansas City minister officiating. She was buried at Tannehill. A peculiar coincidence was the death of her uncle, David Emery, which occurred in Colorado, but four hours before her demise. Several of the girl friends went down on the morning train to attend her funeral. These were Misses Susie Matthews, Iva Shaw and Florence Bailey.
