Death of Adam Christian
Adam Christian, known to patrons of the Metropolitan Elevated as night agent at Home avenue station, passed away at his home, 1125 East, south, on last Saturday night. Mr. Christian was born in Germany in 1839. In 1866 he emigrated to the United States with his family. After a year or more spent in the south he removed to Chicago, where he remained until eight years ago, when he came to Oak Park. He is survived by his wife, with whom he had spent forty-seven years of his life, and his children, Mrs. Otto Kugher and Mrs. Lottie Judson of Chicago. Funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday at 2 p. m. Interment at Waldheim.
