• DOUGHERTY -- Services for Billy Gene Parrish, 57, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dougherty Baptist Church with the Rev. Willard McCartney Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Dougherty Cemetery.
Born Oct. 14, 1944, in Davis to Claud and Rosa Akers Parrish, he died Nov. 8, 2001, in Oklahoma City.
Parrish had served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Dougherty 14 months ago from Arizona.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Parrish, Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Tim Parrish, Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Imogene Hudgens, Caddo, Oma Shotts, Tucson, and Rose Goldman, Davis; three brothers, Claude Parrish Jr., Dougherty, Johnny Parrish, Puyallop, Wash., and Leaton Ray Parrish, Corvallis, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
Bearers are Mack Hale, Frank Schlehuber, Neal Gibson, Edwin Samples, Glenn Hale and Douglas Akers.
Visitation is 8 a.m.-10 p.m. today and Monday at Fox Funeral Home.
