Funeral services were conducted from the Marshville Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. W. B. Carr and Rev. R. C. Kirk, and interment was in the Marshville cemetery.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, W. G. Davis, Sr.; three sons, T. Frank Davis, Parks Davis and W. G. Davis, Jr., all of Marshville; two daughters, Miss Emma Lou Davis of Marshville and Mrs. Hoyte Sell of Monroe; one step son, Julian Davis of Monroe, and one step-daughter, Mrs. Justin Fowler of Monroe.
Mrs. Davis was a most excellent woman and her going is deeply mourned by a wide circle of relatives and friends.
