LAKE ARTHUR — Laura Mae Zaunbrecher, 68, died at 4:53 a.m. Thursday, May
30, 2002, in the Jennings hospital.
She was a native of Gueydan. She was a member and past regent of Catholic
Daughters of America. She was a lay minister.
Survivors include her husband, Julian G. Zaunbrecher of Lake Arthur; two
sons, Zachary Zaunbrecher and Gregory Zaunbrecher, both of Lake Arthur;
one daughter, Priscilla Z. Hanks of Lake Arthur; and five grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. today, June 1, from Our Lady of the Lake
Catholic Church. The Rev. Maurice Martineau will officiate. Burial will be
in Thornwell Cemetery under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home
of Lake Arthur. Visitation is from 8 a.m.
