Barbara Akers, 72, of Little Rock died Thursday, October 10, 2007. A native of Hamburg, she was the daughter of H. H. and Susie Pickering.
Survivors are one son, Brent Akers of Rogers; one brother, David Pickering of Little Rock; one sister, Ruth Lachowsky of Little Rock; and a granddaughter, Natalie Akers of Rogers. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Akers, and two sisters, Hazel Lea and Marjorie Richardson.
Grave-side services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 14, at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Little Rock. Services were by Huson Funeral Home of Little Rock. www.mem.com.
