Gertrude "Trudy" Teaford, 84, passed away peacefully, March 5th. She was born in Dallas, Texas, on September 8th, 1923. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Earl W. Teaford. She retired from Chevrolet Division of General Motors in Dallas, also worked for Arco Oil and Gas for over ten years. After retiring, she moved to Hide-A-Way Lake near Tyler. She is survived by her sister, Ella Meeks, her nieces, Jane Bittinger and Nancy Jolly and extended family in Texas and Florida. Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 10, at Restland Funeral Home and graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday March 11th at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas.
