Lucinda moved to Hyannis, Nebraska as a child and grew up in Hyannis. She graduated from Hyannis High School with the class of 1979. After high school, she ran an in-home daycare for a short time. She then worked at the Hyannis Hotel as a cook and waitress and she also worked at Dredla's grocery store in Hyannis. She loved to shop, especially for shoes and purses. She enjoyed word search puzzles and cooking. Lucinda was always happy and content.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Darlene Chick; nephew's, Joseph Tucker and Hunter Lemley; niece, Sarah Mochel.
Inurnment will follow at Hyannis Cemetery.
