Virginia Faye "Deanie" Faulk, 63, of Crossett died Thursday, November 1, 2007, at her residence. A native of Ashley County and a Crossett resident for the past 17 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church.


Survivors include two sons, Terry Don Barnett and Burley Eugene and wife Dowery Barnett, all of Crossett; one daughter, Rita and husband Jimmy Kelley of Crossett; two brothers, Ottis Prescott of Crossett and Ray Prescott of South Carolina; five sisters, Sue Holey of Delhi, LA, Lou Nell Faulk of Crossett, Betty Ann Cauthern of Highland Home, AL, Martha Harrod of Ramer, LA, and Lennie Earl Blackwell of Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Faulk; one son, Jerry Leon Barnett; and her parents, Linley and Gertrude Prescott.

The remains were cremated. Memorial services were held Sunday, November 4, at the Simms Cemetery. Arrangements were by Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg
