Lee was born in Peoria, Illinois on October 8, 1943. Son of Robert and Ann (Johnson) Bleichner which have preceded him. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary B. Bleichner, and their four biological children – Sherry Bleichner, Steve (Karen) Bleichner, Kevin (Jill) Bleichner, Christopher Bleichner, and seven adopted children — Ben Bleichner, Michelle Bleichner, Kaitlyn Bleichner, Jonathan Bleichner, Allan Bleichner, Stacy Bleichner, and Rachel Bleichner.
As a father, Lee was deeply devoted to his family. As a Caterpillar employee, he worked tirelessly to provide for his children, to see them grow into happy and successful adults, and to create memories that they will cherish forever.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be at Combs Cemetery near Edwards, Ill.
