Daniel Alley 68 of Ft. Gay, WV formerly of Hode, KY; passed away on March 30, 2023 at the U of L Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on August 21, 1954 in Paintsville, KY, he was a son of the late Garfield and Josephine Waller Alley. He was a retired coal miner for Wolf Creek Colliers Mines. Daniel is preceded in death by his spouse, Debbie Spaulding Alley, siblings; Allen Alley, Mikey Alley, Lee Alley, Bertha Alley, Frank Alley, Virginia Stepp, Vernie Mae Alley, and George Alley.

Daniel is survived by his children, Paul Daniel (PD) Alley of Ft. Gay, WV and Natasha Sue Alley of Jennies Creek, WV as well as his grandchildren, Lysina Alley, Carlee Alley, Shyla Alley, E.J. Spurlock, and Kassadee Lynn Alley. Daniel is also survived by his siblings; Lizzie Osborne, Alonzo Alley, Tivis Alley, Tish Osborne, Hannah Simpkins, Ardelia Spence, Lloyd Alley, Helen Bowen, Alice Mollett, Tennessee Alley, Eugene Alley, David Alley, Eli Alley, and Lucy Osborne as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Monday, April 3, 2023 at the Mullins Family Funeral Home and on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 11am-1pm with funeral services being conducted at 1pm with Ellis Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Alley Cemetery of Williams Branch, Hode, KY.
