LIBERTY- Bessie Lay, 84, of Vevay, Ind., died Friday (Jan 25, 2008) at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Ind. She was the widow of Thorton Lay and retired from Campbell-Hausfeld in Harrison, Ohio.

Survivors include five sons, Stanley, Alton, Jesse, Chester and Carl Lay; four daughters, Datha Carman, Carolyn Wright, Linda Cann and Connie Sigmon; a sister, Maxine Burton; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday (Jan 29, 2008) at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Pastor Hobert Byrd. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.
