Funeral services for Alene Chandler of Pineville, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bentley, Louisiana with Reverends Kenneth Murrell and Michael VanAsselberg officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Bentley under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Visitation for Alene will be on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time all at the church.

Alene is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Margie Chandler; her brothers, Gene, Charles, Ruben, Russell, Wilburn, and Lonnie Bearon Chandler; and her sisters, Lena Hatfield, Clara Mitchell, and Billie Jo Williamson.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are, her son, Tracy Shultz (Paula); her grandchildren, Leslie Shultz Kirkpatrick, and Paul Shultz (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Tracy Kirkpatrick, Eva Shultz, and Lilly Shultz; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A retired beautician, Alene enjoyed fishing. Above all, her passion was spending quality time with her family and friends. A faithful and wonderful, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she loved her family and friends dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
