Ella Edwards Barry died February 28 at Vancouver, British Columbia. Mrs. Barry, the daughter of Byron and Harriet Edwards was born August 4, 1870 in Walker. She died at the home of her son, Charles Barry in Vancouver. She was married to Charles O. Barry on June 23, 1897. Her husband at one time was postmaster at Walker and editor of the Walker News. Mr. Barry died in 1920 at Cherokee. Mrs. Barry had made her home at Long Beach, Calif., for many years.
Survivors are her son, Charles, of Vancouver; one brother, John Edwards of Walker; a nephew, Forrest Edwards of LaCrosse, Wis., and two grandchildren. Interment was in Walker cemetery on Monday, March 18 with the Rev. Clinton Jeffers officiating.
