Doris was born April 25, 1910, in Wahpeton, N.D., to Abram and Gladys (Phillips) Bundy.
In 1935, she was united in marriage to Donald Theissen in Chicago, Ill.
Doris was a homemaker and part time bookkeeper for her brother at Bundy Auto Parts.
She enjoyed golf, reading and crossword puzzles. Doris was a longtime member of Ramsey Golf Course.
Survivors include a brother: Arvid Bundy, Austin; sisters: Mildred Durenberger, Mankato; Geil (Donald) Larson, Ludington, Mich.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Fulton Bundy; two sisters: Violet Sherwood and Verna Wesley.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Fellowship United Methodist Church with Rev. Marvin Repinski officiating. The family will greet friends at a luncheon following the service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to the Austin Public Library.
