Roach came into our lives in 1990, my husband brough him home on the back on a motor bike :) He was 8 weeks old.

Full of character and fun, he was a little rogue as well, he was a devil for biting people, friends would come and stroke him and i would warn them he would bite, but they would not listen, telling me he was purring, he got them everytime:) And people never learnt and would always stroke him again when they next came to visit. Roach was one of those cats that would sit on your lap but didn't want any fuss. That was just the way he was.

He was a funny little thing, he would carry the childrens teddy bears in his mouth, crying loudly and placing then in his food bowl, i once mentioned it to the vet who said he probably thought they was his kittens, even though he was a male and neutered :) Every night Roach would wake us with his loud meowing as he was carrying his "babies" around.
Roach would love to sit in the kitchen sink or any cardboard box, in fact he would sleep anywhere :)

Roach was 17 years old when he died, he had a stroke and died in my arms. He died 12 days after my German Shepherd Sky. We burried Roach in our back garden.

I would like to say a big thankyou to Karen for sponsering Roach's page, Thankyou so much xx
