HANOVER Anna Romaine Kopp, 86, entered God's eternal care Thursday, March 6, 2008, at the Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center. Anna was the loving wife of Denton E. Kopp with whom she recently celebrated her 68th wedding anniversary on February 3, 2008.

Born August 15, 1921, in Abbottstown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis H. and Margaret C. (Kuhn) Breighner.

Anna was a member of St. David's Lutheran Church, Hanover. She was a former member of the Hanover YWives Club and a former Lioness. She was a wonderful homemaker and also worked at the former Princess Cleaners, Hiesner Cigar Factory, and was a splendid seamstress.

In addition to her husband, Denton, Anna is survived by three children, Barbara A. Trone and husband, William of Spring Grove, Jeannie M. Myers and husband, Phil of Hanover, and Steven E. Kopp and wife, Sarah of Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren, Deena Haines, Scott Trone, Jeffrey Trone, Tracy Egoff, Tony Shelleman, Terry Shelleman, Cory Potts, Michelle Connor, and Jason Potts; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis R. Breighner of Hanover and Bernard Breighner, Jr. of Littlestown; and two sisters, Mary Debelious of Georgia and Marian Paszek of Hampstead, Md. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Robertazzi; three brothers, James Breighner, Patrick Breighner, and Joseph Breighner; two sisters, Marie M. Dresher and Loretta McMaster; and one half brother, Raymond Chronister.

Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover. Serving as casketbearers will be Scott Trone, Raymond Haines, Jeffrey Trone, Dan Egoff, and Scott Gordon.
