Long Beach, - Gravis W. Alexander Sr., 68, Route 1, Long Beach, died Thursday in Gulfport. Visitors may call tonight from 6:30 until 9 at Riemann Funeral Home in Long Beach. The body will be taken to Antioch Baptist Church in Long Beach Sunday where visitors may call from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Allen Cemetery in Long Beach. Mr. Alexander was a native of Kiln and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. He was retired from American Linen Supply Co. and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leona Beech Alexander of Long Beach; as son, Gravis W. Alexander Jr. of Silsbee, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Joan Watkins of LaPlace, La., and Mrs. Linda Ulland of Ocean Springs; two brothers, Lee Alexander and Salvador Alexander; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Salters and Mrs. Mag Woodcock, all of Long Beach; and six grandchildren.
