Arturo "Arthur" Griego, age 83, beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away on February 21, 2023.
Arturo entered this world on March 12, 1939 in Pecos, NM, born to Charley Griego and Frances Roybal Griego.
Arturo was preceded in death by both parents, brother Charlie Griego, sisters, Paulina Snyder and Marie Contreras.
Arthur is survived by brothers, Andy Griego of Albuquerque, NM and Albert Griego of Huntington Beach, CA, sisters, Frances (George) Flores of Albuquerque, NM and Linda (Mark) Martínez of Albuquerque, NM. Arturo is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved very much!
Arthur worked with several construction companies through most of his life and retired from Hastings Entertainment, Inc. after 25 years.
Arturo was an avid sports fan and loved the Denver Broncos and UNM Lobos.
Services will be at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Community, 2621 Vermont St. NE, Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Rosary will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass starting at 10:30 a.m. and an Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM.
