Rosa Angeline Holt was born at the Holt's Ranch on July 3, 1890, she was the sixth child of George A. Holt and Nancy Jane Hunt Holt. On May 10, 1892, while her father was serving a mission to the Southern States, she suffered a fatal accident when she fell from a swing. Her grandfather, James Holt, chose a spot near her family home and she was buried in what is now known as the Holt Cemetery.
