Cloyd G. Watson, 82, Retired Farmer, Dies At Hospital

Cloyd G. Watson, 82, of rural Cisne, died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 1990, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

A retired farmer, Mr. Watson had been in failing health. He served one and a half terms as Indian Prairie Township road commissioner some years ago.

Rites Conducted

Funeral services were held from the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Ray Phillips and Rev. James Slater officiating. Interment was in Johnsonville cemetery.

He was born at Cisne Aug. 8, 1908, the son of Asa and Minnie Weaver Watson.

On Sept. 29, 1928, he was married to Alice Stine.

Mr. Watson was a member of the Rock Branch General Baptist Church, the Anthony Doherty Masonic Lodge at Cisne, the North Wayne Senior Citizens, Cisne Eastern Star, the Johnsonville Ruritans and was a charter member of the Dry Fork Sportsmen's Club.

The Survivors

Surviving are his wife, Alice; one son, . . . ; one daughter, . . . ; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were two sons, one brother, two infant brothers, one infant sister and his parents.
