Our beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her loving family on Feb. 3, 2008. Beverly was born Nov. 20, 1927 to Rulon Ipsen and Belva (Moore) Ipsen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Beverly graduated from East High School in 1945. Beverly met and married her beloved husband Ernest Earl Beard, who preceded her in death along with her son, William J. Beard; and her father, Rulon Ipsen. Together they raised six children: Michael, Dennis (Chong), Gary (Peggy), Robert (Lisa), and Marie (Stanley). She is also survived by: 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grand-children; her mother, Belva (Moore) Ipsen; five brothers, Glen Ipsen, Gerald Ipsen, Dean Ipsen, Alvin Ipsen and David Ipsen; and two sisters, Carol Pollei and Louise Shields. Beverly's enjoyment in life was doing outside activities with her family. Mother and grandmother, you are in our hearts forever. We Love You. Funeral Services will be held Fri. February 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary Chapel located at 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. Friends and family may attend viewings held Thursday, Feb. 7, from 6-8 p.m. and again one hour prior to services at the mortuary. The family would like to thank Applegate Hospice and Evergreen Canyons Care Center for their loving care and support of Beverly. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help cover costs of the funeral.
