Cathy Rae Cruz, 52, of Lone Jack Mo. passed away on March 1, 2008. Funeral and Memorial services provided by Langsford Funeral Home, Lee's Summit and burial at Lone Jack Cemetery fol- lowing. A public showing will be avail- able March 6, 2008 from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services following at 11 a.m.
Mrs. Cathy Cruz was born on November 1, 1955 in Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of Lone Jack Baptist Church and graduate of Lone Jack High School. Cathy was a loving mother, wife and daughter who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked spring time gardening. She had several hobbies, raising horses and sheep, and training her dogs. She enjoyed knitting, quilt making, wood carving and painting. Her generosity showed most through the personal gifts she created. Cathy was an artist whose best work was her family. She was preceded in death by her brother David Allen Cumpton. Survivors include Husband Ramiro Cruz and Son Brandon Allen Cruz, Par- ents Pat and Ray Cumpton, sister Beth Valentine and niece Kaytland Barone.
