Matthew Turner was born January 15, 1941. He accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age and was a member of Bethel Lauderdale M.B. Church. He was employed several years with Sheller-Globe Corporation, Superior Lima and several years of remodeling. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lena and Edgar (Buster) Turner, a son: Dexter L. Turner; siblings: James Turner, Robert Lee Turner, Winnie Robinson, Hoover Turner, and Geraldine Gilbert. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Janice R. Turner, daughters: Reily Ann Hill (Keith), Indianapolis, IN, Cathy LynnRoberson, Atlanta, GA, Valancia Turner, Columbus, OH; a son: Matthew Turner, Jr., Columbus, OH; sister: Mattie Garner (Levon), Florence AL; brother: Edgar Turner, Sr., Indianapolis, IN; sisters-in-law: Bessie Turner, Florence, AL, Pauline Turner, Indianapolis, IN, Annie R. Beckwith (Charlie), Florence, AL, Mary R. Weddington, Madison, AL, Rubye R.
