BONNIE WATTS OBITUARY
ROCK HILL - Mr. Bonnie Watts, 75, a native of Rock Hill, passed from this life and into his eternal home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, July 31, 2009, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2009, at Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, with the Rev. Andy Simpson officiating. Burial will be private.
Mr. Watts was the son of the late Lemuel Edward Watts and Hattie Faile Watts. He was a retired printer at Rock Hill Printing & Finishing. Later "Watts" was owner of York Printing & Finishing, Inc. He was preceded in death by a much loved son-in-law, Robert K. Hall.
He was a faithful member of Lakewood Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon, a trustee, and on numerous committees.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Jean G. Watts; his son, Jeff Watts (Kim) of Rock Hill; his daughter, Christy W. Hall of Nashville, Tenn.; four grandsons, Justin and Jared Hall and Mark and Mason Watts; three brothers, Jimmie (Annie), Tommie (Reba), and Frank (Lucille) Watts; five sisters, Iva Mae W. Addison (George), Lola W. Totherow (Richard), Patsy W. Dobbins (Jimmy), Betty W. Kennington (Wayne) and Mattie W. Haire (Zonnie), all of Rock Hill.
He had a devoted love for God, his family, his church and his church family. He was known for his integrity and as a survivor of adversities. He was an entrepreneur who always enjoyed working, helping others, and was known for "fixing" any and every thing.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2009, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road in Rock Hill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakewood Baptist Church, 3520 Mount Gallant Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 or Regency Hospice, 1924 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
