Lieutitia Arledge of 448 Watt St. died at 1:30 a. m. Wednesday in her home. Mrs. Arledge was born Nov. 17, 1880 in Pickaway Township, a daughter of Cloys and Sarah Whiteside Boystel. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Steppa McDonald. Surviving her are; her second husband, George D. Arledge; four sons, Alva Boystel of Columbus, Ray E. McDonald of Lancaster and Homer and Ralph McDonald, both of Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Ellis of Columbus and Mrs. Bessie Whitman of Gahanna: brothers, Uhlin Boystel and Noah Boystel of Springfield; a sister, Margie Boystel of Springfield; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Friday in the Defenbaugh Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home after 2 p. m. Thursday.
