Helen Harmon Dandridge, 93, of Martinsville, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Kings Grant where she was a resident.
She was born in Martinsville, on June 28, 1929, to William Johnson Harmon and Nettie Mae Shively Harmon.
On September 20, 1952, she married Harry Neal Dandridge.
Helen was preceded in death by her father, William, mother, Nettie, husband, Harry, sister, Inez H. Buffington, and brothers, Michael, Kyle, and Junior Harmon.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Jeanine D. Draper, son-in-law, Gerard H. Draper, granddaughter, Jessica C. Witt and her husband, James Witt, grandson, Joshua L. Draper and his wife, Brooke Draper, great-granddaughter, Ella Grey Draper, sister-in-law, Ruth Dandridge, Aunt Opal Strader, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private Interment at Roselawn Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Roanoke, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the Fellowship Fund at Kings Grant. McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville, Va. is serving the family.
