JAMES N. WILLIS, 81, of Bartlett, retired Captain for the Memphis Police Department died February 29, 2008. He was a member of Bartlett United Methodist Church and A.C.R.E. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Monday, March 3 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at the funeral home with burial in Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, V. Lucille Willis. He is survived by his daughter, Margaret Ann Ramsey of Cordova; son, J. Michael Willis of Bartlett; grandchildren, Marshall and Drew Willis and Ann and Christy Ramsey. Memorials may be sent to Bartlett United Methodist Church.
