Lee Center, Jan. 11 - Mrs. Elizabeth Sawyer died at the residence of her stepson, Martin Sawyer Tuesday, Jan. 5. She was born at Stockbridge nearly 83 years ago, and had been a resident of this town about three years.

Note: I don't think Elizabeth is buried here, but since I did not create the memorial, I cannot delete it. It was originally created for Ira's first wife Sophia Pratt Bixby who is buried in Vermont. I probably should have merged it with her memorial there, but I am hoping to track down the burial place of Elizabeth.
