William Leslie DeMoulin, the son of Leslie Erastus and Anna Elizabeth Cable DeMoulin, was born on May 12, 1916 in Greenville. He grew up here and attended Central School and graduated from Greenville High School. He then graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston. He answered his countries call by joining the United States Navy serving three years during World War II. He returned to Greenville where he joined DeMoulin Brothers raising to become President in 1956. He held that position for thirty years retiring in 1985. In retirement he enjoyed traveling Golf and reading.
William and Maxine E. Maynard were united in marriage and are the parents of their two children. He is survived by their daughter Nancy L., Mrs. Robert Brown, their son William Richard DeMoulin and his wife Robyn, grandchildren: Terry Derrick, Scott Brown, Jeffrey Brown,Matthew Brown, Amy Catero, Christine Erny, Tiffany McNeill, Erika DeMoulin and 13 great grandchildren. William is a member of the Greenville Masonic Lodge 245 A.F. & A.M., a Shriner, and a member of the Greenville First Presbyterian Church.
