Died, at St. John's hospital at 6 p.m. Friday, March 29, 1912, of a complication of diseases, William Russell Tilton, of this city, aged 24 years and 7 months. Mr. Tilton was born in Pana, Aug. 29, 1887, and at the time of his death was employed as an express messenger on the Illinois Traction system. He had been in St. John's hospital for five weeks. He resided at 811 East Miller street.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine Tilton; an infant daughter, Katherine Alexander Tilton; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Tilton, West Grand place, and three sisters, Misses Edith A., Clara May and Viola Florence Tilton, all of this city.

The funeral of William Russel Tilton, who died Friday at St. John's hospital, will be held this afternoon at the family residence, 811 East Milelr street. Burial will be at Oak Ridge cemetery. The pall bearers will be six expressmen in the employ of the United States Express company.
