Andrea Mireles Cantu of Fredericksburg passed away at her home on Monday February 20th at the age of 98 years.
Andrea was born on November 21, 1924 in Selma, Texas to Eduardo and Lorenza Cortes Mireles.
She married Isidro Robles Cantu on December 22, 1943 in Gillespie County.
Andrea is survived by 10 children and their spouses: Julian and Martha Cantu of Stonewall, Julia and Ernest Aguirre of San Antonio, Aurora Aguirre of Fredericksburg, Lupe and Victor Perez of Stonewall, Elena Cantu of Fredericksburg, Irene Cantu of Fredericksburg, Raymond and Maria Cantu of Stonewall, Linda and Roger Serna of Fredericksburg, Emily Cantu of Fredericksburg, Lucy and Armando Cantu of Fredericksburg
19 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren
Along with her husband and parents, Andrea was preceded in death by two children: Mary Jane Cantu and Vincenta Cantu, son-in-law: Leonardo Aguirre Sr., grandchildren: Bryan Cantu and Justine Cantu.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 28th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home of Fredericksburg.
Graveside Services and interment will be held on Wednesday March 1st at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Guadalupe Cemetery, Fredericksburg.
Visitation for Andrea Cantu will be held on Tuesday February 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Wednesday March 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home.
