Prattsburg - Virginia M. Quinn Vallentin, 79, of 5827 Dillenbeck Road, Prattsburg, passed away Nov. 18, 2004 at the Hospeace House in Naples. Virginia was born Dec. 15, 1924 in Parma, N.Y. the daughter of Leon and Nelle (Peffer) Quinn. She resided the early years of her life in and around the Parma and Rochester areas. She also lived in Honeoye for 29 years prior to moving to Prattsburg in 1993. Virginia and Lawrence Vallentin entered into a loving marriage July 31, 1955 in Mansfield, Pa. Together they celebrated over 49 years of marriage. Throughout her life, Virginia was a housewife and homemaker that enjoyed traveling. She took many trips throughout the United States and once made a trip to Germany. Virginia also enjoyed getting out of the house to visit her family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Nelle Quinn; grandsons, Sam and Scott MacKenzie; brothers, George and Gary Quinn and her sister LaVera Quinn. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Vallentin of Prattsburg; her daughter, Sharon MacKenzie of Atlanta; five grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister Phyllis (Ray) Finn of Springwater; brothers, Richard (Kathy) Quinn of Florida and Leon Quinn of Texas; along with several nieces and nephews. Virginia's calling hours and funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of her family at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St., Wayland. Contributions in Virginia M.
