Curtis was born June 27th 1937 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Reinhold and Anita Lorenz Herbort.
He married Carolyn Griffin on June 25, 1959 in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Curtis served his Country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 20 plus years of service.

Along with his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by a sister: Verdie Feller
Funeral services will be held on Friday February 24th at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with Jimmy Pruit officiating.
Graveside services with full Military Honors will be accorded at Graveside in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation for Curtis Herbort will be held on Friday February 24th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, Fredericksburg.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Parkinson's Foundation, or to the charity of your choice.
