Charlie was the son of William Burket and Martha Myres Burket of Frenchtown.

In 1913 he wed Goldie Laura Miller, and they had three children: Helen A. (Mrs. Arthur S. Baum) in 1914, Charles William in 1915, and Margaret (Mrs. Thomas Carr) about 1918.

Charles was a non-commissioned officer in the Artillery Corp. for three years.

He was a motorman on the trolleys in Trenton. He died in Mercer Hospital. He is listed on the gravestone of his sister, Mary E. Burket Walker.
