W. S. Spearman was the original transcription; although this is actually John Wesley Spearman. Dates match with my book #23. He's buried next to his father-in-law Thomas Jefferson Miller #11382503. Thomas was also the administrator of Wesley's Will.
Dr. John Wesley Spearman was born 10 October, 1799 in Newberry, SC. His father died in 1800 and very shortly after his death, his mom Jane moved to McMinn County, TN with her 3 children; Ann Wisdom Spearman, John Wesley Spearman & Thomas William Spearman.

On October 2, 1820 he married his 1st wife Susannah Hitt, died Feb. 28, 1831 in SC. Have not located place of death for Susannah.
There were five children by this marriage:
*James S. died in 1866 in Hardin County, TN. He married Mary Ann Poindexter; she died August 30, 1895 in Arkansas. After his death Mary Ann married in Dec. 1869 Aaron *Sarah Jane Davis #64937743
*Mary "Mollie" #136490377
*John Mark was born June 21, 1829 in TN & came to TX in 1852 & died as a young man unmarried.

2nd Marriage to Elizabeth Miller born Sept. 7, 1813; daughter of Thomas Jefferson Miller to whom John Wesley is buried next to & also his was the administrator of his Will. Have not located place of death for Elizabeth Miller.
Born to this marriage are 6 children:
*Robert L. "Civil War Confederate" He might be Robert T., I found a Muster Roll stating he died at Cornith, TX "also in my book says died at Battle of Shiloh" IDK?
