Roby, Aug. 1 - Funeral services for John A. Waddell, 82, who died Tuesday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joe Bates, at Odessa, was to be held at 3 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church of Roby with the Rev. D. L. Cravens, pastor, officiating. Burial was to be in the Roby Cemetery.
Mr. Waddell, a resident of Roby 48 years, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Rose Daniel of Lubbock and Mrs. Bates of Odessa; eight sons, R. G. Waddell of California, J. L. of Sweetwater, Ralph of Monahans, J. R., Mark, Fred and Kidd Waddell all of Roby, and Louis Waddell of Rotan; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
