Rites Set Today

Sweetwater - Mrs. E. L. Kinsey, 73, resident of Sweetwater since 1936, died in the Pecan Grove Nursing Home here at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Her home was two miles north of Sweetwater.

Funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Primitive Baptist Church in Roby, with Elders B. F. Houze of Big Spring and Fred Boen of Hamlin officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery under direction of Cate-Spencer Funeral Home.

The former May Belle Dye, she was born in New Mexico on Oct. 2, 1889, and married Mr. Kinsey in Rotan on Dec. 15, 1907.

Survivors are her husband; a son, Olen Kinsey of Clarksville; five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Belle West and Mrs. Faye Brown, both of Midland, Mrs. Alva Ruth Hamilton of Abilene, Mrs. Evelyn Merryman of Conroe, and Mrs. Jo Johnson; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
