Keith passed away early Thursday February 2, 2023, following a brief illness. He was born February 5, 1935, in Newark, the son of the late Donald and Hazel (McGee) Cotterman. He graduated from Jacksontown H.S., class of 1953, served honorably in the US (United States) Army 1957-1959, and retired after a 38-year career as an Auto Underwriter with State Farm Insurance Co in Newark. He also worked for Park National Bank for nine years prior to State Farm.
Keith was a pillar of the Jacksontown United Methodist Church, and served in many leadership roles in the church, district, and conference. He was the delegate to annual conference for Jacksontown for many years and served as a lay speaker in the United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Dorothy "Dottie" (Smith) Cotterman, whom he married on June 24, 1956, his daughter Elaine (Sam) Cox, his granddaughter Cassie (Nathan) Reynolds, his great grandchildren Oakleigh, Boone, Daisy, and Case; his sister Jean Davis and his brother Richard Cotterman, along with several nieces and nephews. He also adored his grand-dogs Zeus, Misty, Bentley, Masha, Millie, Iris, Molly, Lily, and Ella.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald R. Cotterman.
