JAMES "Bob" DECKELMAN, 76, born February 5, 1932, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008. He was a veteran of the Korean War and received the Purple Heart. He retired from the construction industry after 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Anita Deckelman of 32 years; two sons, Keith Deckelman of Somerville, TN, and Dennis Paullus of Arlington; two daughters, Jeannine Scrip of Nashville, TN and Denise Carmack of Rosemark, TN; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Laverne Rush, Sylvia Dunkerson and Joy Webb; a brother, Donnie Deckelman; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., Thursday, February 28 and service will be at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
