Eliseo Caraballo-Reyes, 83, of Hayes, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2023. He was born and raised in Comerio, Puerto Rico to Pedro and Ramona Caraballo along with numerous siblings. After graduating High School, Eliseo joined the U.S. Army where he obtained the rank of Master Sergeant and served his country honorably, earning a Purple Heart for his service in the Vietnam War. He also worked in Civil Service and, again, retired to garden and spend time with family and friends.

Eliseo is survived by his daughter, Ramona Hafer (husband, Dale); his son, Orlando Caraballo (wife, Janet) and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Alisa, Isabella, and Alejandro. He is also survived by his sisters, Cruzita, Julia, Ramonita; his brothers, Julio and Ramiro and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A Private Graveside Service was held on January 20, 2023 at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Virginia with full military honors. Many family members and close friends were in attendance.
