Margaret E. Jones Dies at Age 87
Mrs. Margaret E. Jones, 87, formerly of 289 Pierce St., Kingston, died Thursday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George H. Martin, Newfoundland, where she resided since the flood.
A former resident of Edwardsville, she was the former Margaret Davis and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Edwardsville. She was the widow of David J. Jones.
Surviving besides her daughter are other daughters, Mrs. Hannah J. James, Kingston, with whom she resided before the flood; Sarah E. Jones, Baltimore; sisters, Mrs. Irvin F. Meade, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Edison Berryman, Ohio; one grandson, two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held from Hugh Jones Funeral Home, 34 Church St., Edwardsville, Saturday at 2 p. m. with Rev. A. J. Thomas and Rev. Edmund John officiating. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
