MRS. ALLIE LEE

Apache - Mrs. Rose Allie Lee, 81, died at 1 a.m. Friday in an Anadarko hospital where she had been a patient for about a week.

Born Feb. 16, 1875 in Pickens county, Alabama, Mrs. Lee made her home near the Boone community west of Apache with a daughter, Miss Allean Lee. She was married to W.S. Lee Jan. 8, 1905 at Tuscaloosa, Ala. They moved to Purcell in 1919 and to Boone in 1929. He died April 10, 1939.

Survivors include four daughters, Miss Lee; Mrs. Art Michener of Purcell, Ok.; Mrs. Guy Bynum of Chowchilla, Calif.; and Mrs. H.R. Brown of Apache, Ok.; four sons, Hal Lee of Newcastle, Ok.; A.R. Lee of Turlock, Calif.; Melvin and Elvin Lee of Apache, Ok.; two step-sons, W.E. Lee of Wichita, Kans.; and Boyd Lee of Purcell, OK.; two step-daughters, Mrs. A.T. Couch and Mrs. Hollis Atkinson of Winfield, Ala.; 33 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Boone Baptist church with Rev. Doc Ramsey of Chickasha, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery in Apache with Crew's Funeral Home in charge.
