A Pioneer or "Old Settler" of Clinton County, IN. Came to Clinton Co. from Greene Co.,OH in ca. 1828 with brothers Henry and Moses Fudge; brother Rev. David Fudge also is buried in Clinton County.

1835 - Built oldest currently inhabited house in Frankfort, Clinton Co. at 1408 E. Clinton St.

Farmer, carpenter, cabinet maker.

Entered 80 acres, W half of the NE quarter of Sec II, Range 21, Twp 1 W. The Western boundary of this land is now Hoke Avenue; The parchment deed is dated 5 Jan 1831.

After he built his house in 1835, his log cabin was used as a trading post for Indians. The cabin was dismantled ca. 1875.
