Arminta Clementine Wiggins Lilly
1851 - 1917

Arminta Clementine Wiggins Lilly was the seventh child of twelve, born to Dennis Wiggins and Elizabeth May Holmes Wiggins. She married John Franklin Lilly 25 April 1877 in Craven County, North Carolina. Together they had eight children: Samuel Lilly, Annie Louise Lilly Guthrie, Don Albert Lilly, Dennis Lilly, Stephen Webster Lilly, Daisy Lorena Lilly Ervin, Alonzo Lun Lilly and Cyrus Thompson Lilly.

Between 1893 and 1894 the family moved to Carteret County, North Carolina. They lived at Hatsell Point. John made his living as a mechanic and carpenter according to his death certificate. Arminta Clementine Wiggins Lilly died 14 July 1917. She was buried in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Carteret County, next to her husband John Franklin Wiggins who passed away three years later.
