Buck Cravey, 82 of Helena passed away, Monday, January 16, 2023 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents, Reno Wilson and Ada Lea Welch Cravey.
Mr. Cravey was a retired Lineman of 49 years with Mediacom.
Mr. Cravey is survived by his wife, Doris Cravey of Helena; children, Debra (Steve) Dowdy of Helena, Gale (Joe) Thomas of Helena and Richard Cravey Jr. of McRae; grandchildren, Deanna (Justin) Pierce of McRae, Hannah (Brett) Grenade of Chauncey, Jody (Annalora Jones) Thomas of Helena, Cohen Cravey of McRae and Sadey Cravey of McRae; great-grandchildren, Leila Grenade, Audrey Pierce and Brody Grenade; 2 sisters, Willene Dykes of Dublin and Martha (Gerald) Wells of McRae; also several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service took place on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Burial followed in Helena City Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Joiner, Rev. Sonny Harrell, Mark Joiner and Cadle McEachin will officiate.
Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena was in charge of all arrangements.
