Elaine Jones, of Jacksonville, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015, at Serenity Hospice Place in Dublin.
Elaine, age 77, was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson Jones, Sr; parents, Reno and Ada Lea Welch Cravey; sister, Theris Sellars.
Services was held Thursday, December 31 at 2:00 P.M. at Blockhouse Baptist Church, Jacksonville, with interment in the church cemetery.
The Rev. Joey Dean, the Rev. L.A. “Sonny” Pate, the Rev. Jody Silvers, and the Rev. Tommy Land will officiate.
She was a native of Telfair County and had retired from Roydon Wear. She was a member of Blockhouse Baptist Church.
Survivors include 2 sons, Jack (Karen) Jones of Jacksonville, and David (Robin) Jones of Sanford, N.C.; 5 grandchildren, Blake (Kerri) Jones of Jacksonville, Cole (Beth) Jones of Wray, Monica Jones, Morgan Payne and Cody Payne all of Sanford, N.C.; 1 great-granddaughter, Jacqueline Jones of Jacksonville; 1 brother, Buck (Doris) Cravey of Helena; 2 sisters, Martha (Gerald) Wells of McRae and Willene (Pete) Dykes of Lovejoy; several nieces and nephews.
